The Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Ibusa, Delta State, has recorded a major milestone, emerging among Nigeria’s top 25 universities in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings.

The Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Ibusa, Delta State, has recorded a major milestone, emerging among Nigeria’s top 25 universities in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings.

The university’s latest ranking marks a remarkable rise from its previous national position of 128, reflecting its steady growth, academic excellence, and expanding global relevance.

Key Highlights:

  • National Ranking: Climbed from 128th to 25th in Nigeria.
  • Global Ranking: Improved significantly from 11,902.
  • Focus Areas: Quality education, impactful research, and community relevance.

Speaking on the achievement, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Bankole Ndubuisi Ogbogbo, credited the progress to the joint efforts of the university’s founders, management, staff, and students.

According to him, “ADUN is making giant strides through the collective efforts of its founding fathers, management, staff, and students, all of whom have keyed into the vision and mission of a global university.”
