The Students Union Government (SUG) of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology has issued a directive regarding political campaigns and elections within the university.

According to a statement released by the SUG Senate, all aspiring student leaders are reminded that political campaigns and propagations are restricted during the current administration's tenure, as outlined in the supreme constitution.
The restrictions aim to ensure a fair and transparent election process, and all interested students are advised to await the designated time to commence their campaigns after the current administration's dissolution.

The SUG emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the democratic process and ensuring a peaceful and successful election.
The directive was communicated to all relevant stakeholders, including the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and Admin), Security Division, Dean of Student Affairs, all faculty Deans, and state and faculty associations.
