In a move aimed at accelerating the expansion of student accommodation, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, on Thursday, 12th March, 2026, received a high-level delegation from Advent Integrated Services Limited at her office in the Senate Building.

The meeting served as an important progress review of the hostel concession project designed to expand and modernize student housing within the University.

The delegation was led by the Managing Director of Advent Integrated Services Limited, Goke Dokun, who noted that the purpose of the visit was to review the terms of the concession agreement signed with the University last year regarding the construction of hostel facilities.

During the briefing, the delegation reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the project timeline, emphasizing that full-scale construction activities are expected to commence soon for the completion period of October 2027 to be achieved.

The proposed development is aimed at delivering modern, high-capacity student housing that meets contemporary standards of safety, comfort, and functionality, thereby enhancing the overall campus living experience.

In her remarks, the Vice-Chancellor welcomed the delegation and described the visit as timely, particularly in light of the University’s steady growth and increasing students enrolment.

Professor Liman emphasized the importance of quality and professionalism in the execution of the project and urged the company to ensure that the development meets the highest engineering and architectural standards.

She also stressed the need for strict adherence to the agreed project timeline in order to help address accommodation challenges currently facing students.

The Vice-Chancellor further reaffirmed the commitment of the University Management to providing the necessary institutional, logistical, and administrative support to facilitate the successful implementation of the project.

The engagement highlights the University’s proactive adoption of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Build-Operate-and- Transfer (BOT) initiatives as a strategic approach to addressing infrastructure gaps while sustaining the institution’s rapid growth.

Through its collaboration with Advent Integrated Services Limited, the University is positioning itself to significantly expand on-campus housing and improve the residential experience for its growing student population.
