The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Employability (CES), Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike,Ebonyi State, has organized its 2023 trade fair where it showcased its numerous products to the University community.

The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Employability (CES), Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike,Ebonyi State, has organized its 2023 trade fair where it showcased its numerous products to the University community.

Myschoolnews reports the trade fair which was a display of various household consumables produced by the Centre was also designed to prepare students for practical marketing skills and career development.

 

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Sunday Elom while declaring the program open, commended the effort and initiative of the Centre and their commitment towards training students to acquire kills for economic self emancipation and self-reliance.

 

Prof. Elom, who was represented by the Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Abel Ezeoha pledged the University management’s continuous support towards the Centre to ensure it remains practically active, serving the University and its host community.

 

He added that the items produced by the Centre would be useful in the various offices of the University and called for Deans and Directors to purchase it.

 

The Acting Director of the Center, Dr. Emmanuel Nwaeze, in his speech commended the efforts of the Vice-Chancellor in making the University a very viable place through his style of leadership, which he demonstrates in every facet of his administration.

 

He further noted that the students were seriously engaged in the production of all the materials in display and assured on the quality of the products.

 

Dr. Nweze also said the products would be ready for outside market as soon as it registers with the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, (NAFDAC).

 

He further solicited for the patronage of both staff and students, stressing that their products were of the best quality and also cost-effective.
