Ahmadu Bello University Announces Matriculation Ceremony for 2024/2025 Fresh Undergraduate Students

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced that the Matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 fresh undergraduate students will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 10:00 am. The event will be held at the Mamman Kontagora Square, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria.

All fresh undergraduate students are required to attend the ceremony, during which the Matriculation Oath will be administered. Students are expected to be robed in academic gowns, which can be obtained from their Faculty Officers after paying a hiring fee of N2,000.00.

Students are advised to present the Remita receipt for verification and issuance of an official receipt by the Cash Office. Faculty Officers are required to ensure that students attend the ceremony and submit their completed Matriculation Oath forms to the Academic Office immediately after the event.

The university emphasizes the importance of punctuality and compliance with the mandatory attendance requirement.
