Ahmadu Bello University Announces Matriculation Ceremony for 2024/2025 Fresh Undergraduate Students

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced that the matriculation ceremony for fresh undergraduate students admitted for the 2024/2025 academic session will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

The ceremony, which marks the formal admission of students into the university, will be held at the Mamman Kontagora Square, Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria, at 10:00 am.

All fresh undergraduate students are required to attend the ceremony, robed in academic gowns, and take the Matriculation Oath. Students are advised to report to their Faculty Officers to obtain academic gowns and Matriculation Oath Forms after paying the required fee of ₦2,000.00.

The university has provided a step-by-step guide on how to make payment for the hiring of academic gowns via Remita.

Faculty Officers are expected to ensure that students' attendance records and completed Matriculation Oath forms are submitted to the Academic Office immediately after the event.

The university community is urged to be punctual and cooperate with the arrangements to ensure a successful ceremony.
