Originally granted a provisional licence on 8th April 2021, APU’s new permanent status acknowledges its strong infrastructure, qualified faculty, and commitment to academic research.
On 30th October 2024, Dr. Amina Ahman Pategi, representing the late founder, Hon. Dr. Aliyu Bahago Ahman Pategi, received the certificate from the NUC in Abuja. Dr. Pategi expressed gratitude to the NUC, noting that the licence validates the university's dedication to providing high-quality education.
