The Dean, Faculty of Education, Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, Dr. Hassan Usman, has been inducted as a Research Fellow of the African Forum for Innovative Teachers (AFFIT) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to teacher education, educational research, innovation, and academic leadership.

The colourful induction ceremony, held on Friday, 26th June, 2026, at the Faculty of Education, brought together the Vice Chancellor, Principal Officers, members of the University Management, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, staff, students, and representatives of the African Forum for Innovative Teachers (AFFIT).

Speaking during the ceremony, the Director General of of AFFIT, Dr. Ogah Emmanuel, described the fellowship as a distinguished honour reserved for accomplished educators, scholars, researchers, and institutional leaders whose exceptional commitment has significantly advanced education and research. He noted that Dr. Hassan Usman's remarkable achievements and dedication to academic excellence earned him the continental recognition.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Hassan Usman expressed profound appreciation to AFFIT for finding him worthy of the fellowship. He dedicated the honour to Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, and pledged to continue promoting excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and mentorship.
