Aminu Saleh College of Education Releases Urgent Notice On Examination Malpractice

As the second-semester examinations for the 2022/2023 academic session approach, it is essential to heed some words of advice to my respected colleagues to prevent themselves from engaging in examination malpractice.

First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting us the blessing and opportunity to be part of this prestigious institution and for sparing our lives up to this point.

Our second-semester examinations are scheduled to commence on Monday, 9th October 2023, for both NCE and undergraduate students. While NCE students have already begun their practical exams earlier this week, they will continue with the theory exams starting on the same date mentioned above.

We must remember that our parents have invested their resources and unwavering prayers in our academic journey to become qualified and professional teachers. Therefore, we owe it to them and ourselves to uphold the integrity of this institution and strive for academic excellence.

Here are some pieces of advice for my fellow students:

Ensure that you thoroughly study all the courses you are enrolled in, covering every aspect from the beginning to the end of each course.

Disregard those who claim that success in exams comes down to luck. Success in exams is primarily a result of hard work and preparation.

Do not engage in examination malpractice or any dishonest activities that could jeopardize your future.

Leave your phone and any electronic devices at home or in your hostel; they are not allowed in the examination hall.

Avoid bringing bags or any unnecessary items to the exam hall, as they won't be permitted inside.

Present your school ID card and examination card for entry into the examination hall.

Consistent reading and prayer are essential for success. The more you study, the better your chances of passing.

Undergraduate students, take the examination card seriously; its proper handling is crucial.

Be aware that engaging in examination malpractice could result in expulsion or other severe consequences.

Nursing mothers should make appropriate arrangements for their babies, as they will not be allowed in the examination hall with them.

Arrive at the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure that all necessary arrangements are made promptly.

I wish all of us the very best of luck in our upcoming examinations!
