Andoma of Doma Commends FULafia Management for Reflecting Nigeria’s Diversity

The Andoma of Doma, Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo, has applauded the composition of the new management team of the Federal University of Lafia, describing it as a true reflection of unity and Nigeria’s diversity.

The royal father spoke while receiving the institution’s fourth Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, and his team during a courtesy visit to his palace in Doma.

He said the blend of cultures, ethnicities and professional backgrounds within the management team mirrors the Nigerian spirit and promotes inclusive leadership.

According to him, diversity fosters broader perspectives, richer ideas and balanced decision-making just as it strengthens institutions.

Onawo urged the team's members to leverage their networks to mobilise resources and partnerships for the University’s development.

Earlier, Kida said the visit was to formally introduce members of the new management team and seek the royal father's support.

He noted challenges such as inadequate hostels, lecture halls and staff quarters, facing the University, urging the emir to intervene to address the challenges.
