Yarima of Bade Visits USCOE Gashua; Pledges Royal Support for Educational Growth

In a significant move to strengthen the ties between academia and tradition, the Yarima of Bade paid a high-profile courtesy visit to Umar Suleiman College of Education (USCOE), Gashua, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

The Yarima, accompanied by a delegation of distinguished dignitaries from the Royal House, was warmly received at the college by the Provost, members of the College Management, and Principal Officers.

During the reception, the Provost lauded the existing cordial relationship between the institution and the Bade Emirate. He described the Yarima’s visit as a powerful "demonstration of unity" and a testament to their shared commitment to advancing teacher education within the state.
