ATBU Appoints New Dean of Faculty of Science

The Ned Dean of Faculty of Science, Prof. Yusuf Haruna, is a Professor of Pure and Applied Mathematics with Postgraduate Qualifications in Computer Science and Education in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, Nigeria. Holder of B.Sc,M.Sc and Ph.D in Mathematics, BDP, PGD in Computer Science and PGD in Education. Former HOD, Deputy Director and Rector.

Confirmed Full Professor in 2009. Taught Several Courses in Mathematics, Computer Science and Education for Diploma, Higher Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate Diploma and Masters.

Member of six Professional bodies (MAN, LRN, NMS, TRCN, SAN and NIM). Supervised above 10No. Ph.Ds, and 5No. are on Course, 28No. M.Sc with 6No. on Course and several numbers of Diplomas, Higher Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma Projects supervised. Current Research area is “On methods and Techniques of finding solutions of Differential Equations with different application on various Human Endeavour base on their fundamental properties”.
