ATBU Faculty of Agriculture Holds Remarkable Award Ceremony

The Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has honored its best and brightest students at a prestigious Award Ceremony held recently to recognize academic excellence, leadership, and service.

The event, organized under the leadership of Comr. Muhammad Auwal Abdullahi, President of the Faculty’s chapter of the National Association of Agricultural Students (NAAS), brought together distinguished personalities from the Students’ Union Government (SUG).

Among the dignitaries in attendance were:

• Rt. Hon. Muhammad Nazir Ahmad, two-time SUG Parliament Speaker and former SUG President

• Sen. Usman Abubakar Mansur, two-time SUG Senator and former SUG President

• Distinguished Sen. Anas Adamu, pioneer SUG Senate President

Their presence, described as both inspiring and symbolic, encouraged students to continue pursuing excellence, leadership, and service to the university community.

The Faculty commended the students for successfully hosting an event that reflected dignity, unity, and a strong commitment to achievement, noting that it further enhanced the image of the Faculty and ATBU as a whole.

The ceremony recognized not only outstanding students but also individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the Faculty’s growth and development. In line with ATBU’s mission, the event served as a platform to encourage innovation, academic distinction, and leadership among students.
