ATBU Issues SIWES II Registration Guidelines

The Directorate of Industrial Training Coordinating Unit (ITCU), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has released registration guidelines for students of Environmental Technology and Engineering, and Engineering Technology proceeding on SIWES II for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In a memo dated 22nd June, 2026, signed by the Director, ITCU, Prof. E.G. Wuritka, the unit directed affected students to comply strictly with four key requirements to ensure a smooth placement process.

According to the guidelines, students must first settle all outstanding school fees, including fees for the current academic session, before proceeding to other steps. They are then required to complete SIWES II registration via the student registration portal.

The memo further stated that students must register on the E-SIWS portal at http://e-siwes.atbu.edu.ng after completing school fee and I.T. registration payments. Successful registration on the portal will enable students to download essential documents including I.T. Letters, Biodata Form, SCAF Form, and ITF Form 8.

ITCU also directed all students to submit their Acceptance Letters alongside Course Registration Forms to the unit on or before 22nd July, 2026.

In addition, the Directorate announced that logbooks are now available for sale at ₦3,000. Students can only collect them at ITCU upon presenting a verified Remita payment receipt.

The university urged all concerned students to adhere strictly to the timeline and procedures to avoid any disruption to their SIWES placement.
