Babcock University Hosts Inaugural Interswitch Discovery Series as Landmark University Takes Center Stage for Second Edition
Interswitch Group has expanded its engagement with tertiary institutions through the Interswitch Discovery Series, a collaborative innovation program. The first edition was held at Babcock University, Ogun State, in March 2024, followed by the second edition at Landmark University, Kwara State, from January 29 to 31, 2025.

Interswitch Group, a leading digital payments and commerce company in Africa, has strengthened its engagement with tertiary institutions through the Interswitch Discovery Series, a collaborative innovation and idea discovery program. Following the success of the inaugural edition at Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, in March 2024, the initiative progressed to its second edition at Landmark University, Kwara State, from January 29 to 31, 2025.
The Interswitch Discovery Series is part of the company’s #SwitchAFuture initiative, designed to foster innovation and build technology-driven problem-solving capacity among students in African universities. The program complements existing initiatives such as the InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition and aligns with Interswitch’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability goals.
According to Interswitch’s Innovation and Ventures Team, the Discovery Series features:
- Entrepreneurship Workshops to nurture an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Design Thinking Sessions & Masterclasses to enhance creative problem-solving skills.
- The Grand Pitch, where students present groundbreaking ideas with the opportunity to incubate winning innovations at Interswitch’s newly launched Innovation Lab and Incubator.
Building on the momentum, the next edition of the series is set to take place at Cosmopolitan University, Abuja, from February 26 to 28, 2025.
