Barau Jibrin Foundation Awards Scholarships to 300 Postgraduate Students

The Barau Jibrin Foundation has awarded domestic postgraduate scholarships to 300 deserving students from across Kano state. The screening of prospective students took place at Bayero University, Kano (BUK), on April 20, 2025.

Senator Barau Jibrin, Deputy President of the Senate, emphasized the transformative power of education in nation-building and praised BUK's rising academic standards. He stressed the importance of fairness and integrity in selecting scholarship beneficiaries.

BUK Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, described the foundation's initiative as "a noble intervention" and praised Senator Jibrin's commitment to education.
