Bayero University, Kano, recently hosted the 9th National Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Crop Science Society of Nigeria (CSSN), focusing on "Transforming Crop Production in the Face of Insecurity and Economic Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities." The conference called for increased government engagement with crop scientists to address food insecurity in Nigeria.
