Bayero University Kano Announces 39th Convocation Ceremony Schedule

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced the schedule for its 39th convocation ceremony, which will take place from February 12 to 15, 2025, at the New Campus, Gwarzo Road, Kano.

The ceremony will award higher degrees, degrees, and prizes to graduands from various faculties. The schedule is as follows:

Day 1 (February 12): Graduands from the faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dentistry, Arts and Islamic Studies, Communication, Education, Engineering, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Sciences will be honored.

Day 2 (February 13): Graduands from the faculties of Agriculture, Computing, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Law, Economics and Management Sciences, Social Sciences, and the School of Continuing Education (SCE) will receive their awards.

Day 3 (February 14): A convocation lecture will be delivered by Khalil Sulaiman Halilu, Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), on the topic "Innovation and Entrepreneurship: A Pathway to National Development."

Day 4 (February 15): The final day will include the award of Emeritus Professorships, Honorary Degrees to Col. Sani Bello (Rtd.) and Auwalu Abdullahi Rano, OON, and the award of Higher Degrees and Prizes for graduands of the College of Postgraduate Studies and Dangote Business School.
