Bayero University Kano Secures TETFund Research Grant Worth N87.8 Million

The Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Partnership (DRIP) at Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced that the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has approved an Institution-Based Research (IBR) grant for the university.

 

The grant, worth N87,789,245.78, will support 45 research projects led by BUK staff members. The projects cover various disciplines, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), social sciences, and humanities.

The TETFund research grant is a significant achievement for BUK, demonstrating the university's commitment to research and innovation. The grant will enable BUK researchers to explore new ideas, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the country's socio-economic development.

In a related development, the university library has announced that BUK has received subscription access to the Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection through the Henry Stewart Talk. The university community is invited to access the collection by following the guidelines provided by the library.

 

The TETFund research grant and the subscription access to the Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection are expected to enhance BUK's research capacity, promote innovation, and improve the overall quality of education at the university.
