Bayero University Kano Unveils Remodeled Old Campus Gate

Bayero University Kano's Old Campus has a new landmark, thanks to the visionary leadership of Vice-Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas. On August 12, 2025, Professor Abbas officially commissioned the remodeled campus gate, a project designed by MSc Architecture student Mukhtar Kabiru Danjuma.

The new gate is not only aesthetically pleasing but also reflects the university's commitment to excellence and innovation. Danjuma, the student designer, expressed his vision for the gate, stating, "I wanted a gate that tells every visitor, from the very first glance, that they are entering a place of excellence, beauty, and history."

The remodeled gate marks a significant milestone in the university's efforts to upgrade its infrastructure and provide a conducive environment for its students and staff. Professor Abbas described the new gate as "another landmark in the proud history of our University," highlighting the university's modern spirit and academic excellence.
