Bayero University Kano Vice-Chancellor Honored by Student Union Government
In a historic event, the Student Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has awarded the Vice-Chancellor for his dedication and commitment to the student body.

During a meeting between the SUG and the Vice-Chancellor, the latter praised the SUG President, Aluta Professor, as one of the most capable leaders he has worked with. In recognition of their efforts, the Vice-Chancellor presented an award to the SUG for their outstanding initiatives and support to students.
Additionally, the Vice-Chancellor announced a 17-day extension of the registration deadline and assured students who applied for loans and paid their school fees that their payments would be refunded. He also revealed that NELFund has increased funding for BUK students by ₦200 million, totaling ₦1 billion.

The SUG President expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for his support and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the administration and students for the betterment of the university community.
