Brief History of Madonna University

In 1999, Madonna University commenced its academic journey with the invaluable approval of the Federal Government of Nigeria. Notably, this year marked not only the birth of the first private Catholic university in the West African sub-region but also the first private university in Nigeria to receive official endorsement from the Federal Government. This significant milestone was achieved with its take-off campus situated in Okija, Anambra State. Over the years, Madonna University has grown and expanded its horizons, with a relentless commitment to providing a well-rounded education to its students. The institution currently operates across three campuses, each dedicated to fostering academic growth and development.
