BUK Committed to Mentoring New Universities to Maturity - Vice-Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas

Bayero University Kano (BUK) has reaffirmed its commitment to mentoring new universities, aiming to help them establish a solid foundation and achieve academic excellence.

This pledge was made by Vice-Chancellor Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas while receiving a delegation from Capital City University Kano (CCUK) on September 27, 2024.

Professor Abbas assured the CCUK team that BUK is ready to provide comprehensive support in all areas, including access to facilities on demand. This partnership is expected to foster growth and development at CCUK.

 The CCUK team, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Yusuf Bala Daraja, sought support from BUK's management in mentoring, training, and facility usage. With BUK's guidance, CCUK is poised for significant growth and academic achievement.

 This commitment aligns with BUK's vision to become a research-based university, transforming from its traditional teaching-focused approach. Under Professor Abbas' leadership, BUK has demonstrated its dedication to education, research, and community service.
