BUK Releases 5th And Final Batch Of Nelfund Beneficiaries For 2025/2026 Session

Bayero University, Kano, BUK, has released the 5th and final batch of beneficiaries of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, NELFUND, for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement was made in a Special Bulletin issued on Friday, 14th August 2026 by the Office of Public Affairs.

According to the notice, the names of verified NELFUND applicants have been uploaded on the University Registration Portal.

All students who applied for NELFUND and have been verified by the Institution on their NELFUND dashboard are required to proceed with their registration through the BUK Registration Portal: https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/ug

Students were also advised to log into the NELFUND portal at https://nelf.gov.ng/ to confirm their application and verification status before proceeding to complete their online registration for the current academic session.

The University further advised students to regenerate their BUKPPF-ID before proceeding with course registration.

BUK noted that this is the final batch for the 2025/2026 academic session. All affected students are therefore strongly advised to complete their registration processes on or before Friday, 21st August, 2026.
