BUK SUG Members Urged to Emulate ABU Zaria Success

The Bayero University Kano Students' Union Government (SUG) has been encouraged to learn from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria's successful Cultural Carnival Day.

In a message addressed to the current SUG executives, senators, president, and speaker, the authors expressed admiration for ABU Zaria's well-coordinated event, where student leaders demonstrated exemplary planning and humility.

The message highlighted the challenges faced by Bayero University Kano's Cultural Day in recent years, attributing them to the prioritization of self-promotion over student interests. The authors urged the SUG to focus on inspiring and encouraging student participation, rather than discouraging it.
