Controversy Rise Over Alleged Discrimination Against HND Holders in NYSC Registration

Contoversy has risen at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camps across Nigeria today following allegations that no Higher National Diploma (HND) holders have been registered since the commencement of registration at 7 am. The situation has sparked outrage in NYSC official X handle, where affected individuals have raised questions about possible discrimination in the registration process.

"I, along with my peers, have been at the NYSC Imo camp since 7 am, but they refused to register me and other Higher Diploma holders," an aggrieved individual who preferred to remain anonymous commented.

"They're only registering the Degree holders, most of whom arrived very late. Please, what's going on? What kind of discrimination is this?"

They also noted that the incident has particularly affected nursing mothers and other applicants who have gathered at various NYSC camps across the country in anticipation of commencing their mandatory national service.

Reports indicate that while Degree holders, some of whom arrived after the stipulated registration time, were being registered, HND holders were allegedly turned away without explanation.
