Dorben Polytechnic organized a Solemn Assembly to commence the new academic session under the theme "GRATITUDE." The event brought together the management team, staff, and students in a spirit of thanksgiving and reflection.

In his opening remarks, Elder Dr. A. B. Ekwere, Chairman of the Management Board, welcomed all attendees and emphasized the importance of prayer within the Dorben Polytechnic community. "We gather here today, Christians and Muslims alike, to glorify God Almighty for sparing our lives to witness a new academic session," he stated.

Pastor Ade Ejiko delivered an inspiring exhortation, highlighting the significance of gratitude as a catalyst for progress and productivity. "The best way to move forward is to be thankful for what God has done, reflect on God's faithfulness, and embrace new beginnings," he encouraged.

Guided by Psalm 100:4, which states, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name," Pastor Ejiko stressed that gratitude reflects God's faithfulness and serves as an inspiration for hope and confidence. He urged the audience to embrace new beginnings with gratitude to foster positive results.

During the assembly, Pastor Ejiko offered prayers for Elder Dr. A. B. Ekwere, Vice Chairman Dr. (Mrs.) D. Ekwere, as well as for the staff and students of Dorben Polytechnic and the nation at large.

Rector Mrs. Iyabo Uzu delivered the vote of thanks, while Mallam Bala offered the closing prayer. The Solemn Assembly served as a poignant reminder of the institution's commitment to its founding values and reliance on divine guidance.
