Dr. Abimbola Abolarinwa, a distinguished mathematician from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has been appointed as a ate at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP). The appointment, effective from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2031, marks a significant recognition of Dr. Abolarinwa’s expertise in the field.
During his associateship, Dr. Abolarinwa will contribute to the mathematics section of the ICTP, focusing on differential geometry, global analysis of manifolds, and partial differential equations. His work will involve collaboration with renowned experts in these areas, fostering scientific exchange and advancing theoretical research.
