Edo State University Iyamho Inducts 77 New Nurses into the Profession

Edo State University Iyamho (ESUI) held its 5th Induction and Oath‑Taking Ceremony for the 2024/2025 graduating cohort on 20th November 2025, welcoming 77 newly qualified nurses into the profession.

The event took place at the Aliko Dangote Auditorium on the university campus.

The ceremony, attended by faculty, university officials, family members, and distinguished guests, provided a platform for the fresh graduates to pledge their commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s healthcare system.

In his remarks, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Victor Olawale Adetirimin praised the graduands for their dedication and perseverance throughout their training. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to producing competent, compassionate, and professional healthcare workers who can make a positive impact in the sector.

The induction underscores ESUI’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its role in advancing medical education and healthcare services in the region, marking another milestone in the university’s commitment to excellence in nursing education.
