Prof. Egbewole, who described Christmas as a celebration of the timelessness and extraordinariness of the phenomenon Jesus Christ symbolises, said that Christians must live as the saviour did.

The Vice Chancellor urged Christians, particularly those who are staff and students of the University, to emulate the paragonic virtues of Jesus Christ, whose birthday Christmas symbolises.

Prof. Egbewole encouraged Nigerians and particularly members of the University community to live in peace and harmony with one another and their neighbours for the nation to continue to enjoy the fruits of peaceful coexistence.

The legal luminary said that the management of the University would continue to treat members of the University community and its relevant publics with absolute respect and fairness regardless of where they come from or the religion they practise.
