Elizade University Inaugurates Prof. Kayode Ijadunola as Vice Chancellor

Elizade University, situated in Ilara Mokin, Ifedeore Local Government of Ondo state, held an official inauguration ceremony to install Professor Kayode Ijadunola as its 4th substantive Vice Chancellor. Prof. Ijadunola, in his inaugural speech, articulated his commitment to elevating the standard of education and research within the institution to facilitate its overall advancement.

Expressing his vision for the university, Prof. Ijadunola emphasized the importance of producing globally competitive academic scholars through a foundation of academic excellence, diligent scholarship, and an entrepreneurial mindset. He acknowledged the deliberate efforts of the university's founding fathers in creating an aesthetically conducive environment for scholarly pursuits and intensive research.

He emphasized the core values of hard work, meritocracy, fairness, integrity, accountability, and the fear of God, which will guide the institution under his leadership.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished personalities, including Emeritus Prof. Olu Aina, Uncle Chidi Agbapu, Dr. Kemi Albert-Udoh, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi (VC of Unimed), Charles Ukeje, Olapeju Esimai, Morenike Ukpong, Akanni Akinyemi (DVC, OAU), Segun Afolabi, Adeleke Oginni, and Fadekemi Oginni, among others.
