Myschoolnews reports the literary arts festival which coincides with the golden jubilee celebration of the muse journal; a publication of the department is to hold at the princess alexandra auditorium of the university on the 6th of July, 2023 by 11am.
The headliner for the event is Amu Nnadi, a Nigerian poet and the author of two collections of poems in addition to “through the window of a sandcastle: the fire within".
He is the winner of the 2002 Association of Nigeria Authors’ Prize for Poetry, and his work “pilgrim’s passage” was shortlisted for the 2005 Nigeria Prize for Literature.
Another of his work “through the window of a sandcastle” is a winner of the 2013 ANA Poetry Prize and runner-up to the 2013 Nigeria Prize for Literature.
