In a bid to warmly receive and acquaint new students with the university's culture and facilities, Enugu State University (ESUT) organized a comprehensive orientation program on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The event, held at the prestigious Julius Onah Auditorium in Agbani, brought together key figures from the university administration, student body, and law enforcement.

The program witnessed the esteemed presence of ESUT Vice Chancellor, Professor Aloysius-Michaels Okolie, alongside ESUT's Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chike Nwoha, Registrar Ambrose Ugwu, Bursar Dr. Augustine Ojeh, Dean of Students Affairs Prof. Jude Udenta, and representative of ESUT Librarian, Mr. Nelson Ezukwuoke.

Additionally, the event featured the participation of law enforcement officials, with the presence of the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, from the Enugu State Police Command, ensuring safety and security within the campus premises.

The orientation aimed to provide incoming students with a holistic understanding of the university's academic framework, support services, and extracurricular opportunities. Through informative sessions, interactive workshops, and campus tours, the event sought to empower freshers to navigate their academic journey effectively.
