The Career Service and Polytechnic Advancement Center (CSPAC) at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Zaria has officially launched its Mentorship Program, a landmark initiative aimed at fostering student success. The program was inaugurated on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 11th and 12th, 2025, with the onboarding of the Mentors Board.
The Mentors Board comprises a distinguished group of academicians, industry experts, alumni, and professionals from various institutions. As part of the launch, the mentors participated in an online orientation, followed by the introduction of mentees into the program.
The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements by providing students with essential guidance, support, and career insights. The mentors, drawing from their vast experience and expertise, are committed to equipping mentees with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
Engr. Aliyu M. Kofa, Director of CSPAC, expressed optimism about the impact of the mentorship program, emphasizing that it will play a crucial role in preparing students for future career opportunities. He noted that the collaboration between mentors and mentees will not only enhance academic performance but also foster professional development.
