EX-Nasarawa State Students Association Senate President and Three Others Die in Road Accident

A tragic road accident involving two motorcycles has resulted in the death of Comrade Ovey Agbuntun Emmanuel, the former Senate President of the Nasarawa State Students Association (NASSA), and three other individuals. The accident occurred on Friday night in the Ombi area of Lafia metropolis.

The news was confirmed by a former leader of the association, Comrade Akolo Adams, on Saturday. Comr. Emmanuel, who was known for his leadership and integrity during his tenure as Senate President of NASSA from 2016 to 2017, was remembered by many on social media. His final post on Facebook, made nine hours before the accident, read, "O God, restore what you have created in me and keep safe what you have restored. Amen."
