Faculty of Education Emerges Champion of 17th BUK Interfaculty Games with 21 Medals

The Faculty of Education has won the 17th Interfaculty Games of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) with an impressive 21 medals.

The faculty capped off its dominant performance by winning the final football match against the Faculty of Life Sciences 3-2 in a penalty shootout, after the game ended 1-1 in regulation time.

The Faculty of Education's Chief Coach, Asso Hassan, expressed joy and determination, stating that the team was focused on winning the ultimate trophy from the start.

Representing the Vice Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, University Librarian Dr. Kabiru Dahiru Abbas commended all athletes for their skills and sportsmanship, emphasizing that sports unite and bring students together. He praised the Directorate of Sports for organizing one of the best interfaculty games in BUK's history and promised continued support for university athletes in external competitions.

Chairman Sports Consultative Committee, Professor Musa Garba Yakasai, thanked the Vice Chancellor for sponsoring the games and acknowledged the success of the event.

The Faculty of Education's victory demonstrates their excellence in sports and teamwork, earning them the top spot in the 17th BUK Interfaculty Games.
