Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Appoints Umar Haruna As New Student Union Government President

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has appointed Umar Haruna as the Student Union Government (SUG) president for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Haruna, an HND student of Mass Communication, confirmed his appointment on his Facebook page, expressing gratitude and commitment to the role.

"I pray that God grants me the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and sufficiently as president to make you all proud," Haruna stated.

A seasoned student leader, Haruna has held various public positions, including:

- PRO, Gamji and Adamawa, Borno, and Yobe State Students Association (ADBOYOSS)

- Assistant Welfare Officer, Mass Communication Student Association (MACOSA)

- Chief Advisor, ADBOYOSS

- PRO, Muslim Student Society of Nigeria (MSSN)

Haruna's experience and leadership skills are expected to enhance student welfare and academic excellence at the polytechnic.
