Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Launches 2025/2026 Admission Session for HND/ND Upgrade Programme

The Management of The Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi (FPTB), has officially announced the commencement of the application process for its specialized Upgrade Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The initiative invites applications from eligible qualified candidates seeking admission into both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) accredited courses to enhance their academic standing.

The "Upgrade Programme" was introduced in response to community demand, specifically designed to enable former students of the polytechnic who graduated at a Pass level in their ND or HND programmes to upgrade their results in alignment with current approved polytechnic standards.

Candidates must possess their original National Diploma and/or Higher National Diploma results/certificates at the Pass Level issued exclusively by the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.

A minimum of Five (5) O/Level Credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two (2) sittings, is also required.

The program structure is intensive, running for one (1) full Academic Session spread across two (2) semesters. Lectures will utilize a blended learning approach, incorporating both physical classroom sessions and online delivery via approved digital platforms.

Applicants are directed to log on to the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi website at https://portal.fptb.edu.ng. They must click on "ONLINE ADMISSION," enter their details, and generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to facilitate a non-refundable application fee payment of Six Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N6,500.00) only at any commercial bank.
