The Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu has appointed Ismail Muhammad as the institution's Acting Bursar. This decision was made official through a letter signed by Registrar Muazu Aliyu Iliyasu following a recent council meeting.
Ismail, a seasoned Chief Accountant and member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), has been overseeing the Bursary Department since the previous Bursar's tenure ended. His wealth of experience and expertise make him an ideal candidate for this role.
As Acting Bursar, Ismail will be responsible for managing the polytechnic's financial affairs until a substantive Bursar is appointed. His duties will include:
