Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Rector Appoints Audu A. Musa as Acting Director of Procurement

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, has approved the appointment of Audu A. Musa as the Acting Director of Procurement, effective June 27, 2025.

This appointment was announced in a letter signed by Deputy Registrar Council and General Administration, Saad Umar Katuzu.

Audu, a certified Procurement officer by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), previously served as Deputy Director of Procurement. Before his redeployment to the Procurement Department, he worked in the Polytechnic's store unit for several years.

The Acting Director is expected to work closely with the outgoing Director to ensure a seamless transition and familiarize himself with ongoing projects. Muhd Nura Nguru, Head of Information and Public Relations, confirmed the appointment and highlighted the Rector's efforts to strengthen the institution's leadership team.
