Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Seeks Collaboration with Yobe State Ministry of Education

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Dr. Ibrahim Bashir Bello, recently paid a familiarization visit to the Hon. Commissioner of the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in Yobe State, Assistant Professor Abba Idiriss.

The visit aimed to foster collaboration between the polytechnic and the ministry, particularly in the area of skill acquisition related to Arabic and Islamic education.

Dr. Bello was accompanied by his Special Assistant, Suleiman Zubair Abdullahi, and was received by the Executive Secretary of the Arabic and Islamic Education Board (AISEB), Mallam Umar Abubakar, and a Permanent Member of the Board, Alh. Lawan Abba Shettima.

The collaboration seeks to promote skill acquisition and entrepreneurship in Arabic and Islamic education, aligning with the polytechnic's mission to produce highly trained middle-level technical manpower with entrepreneurial skills.
