Federal Polytechnic Oko Expelled Lecturer For Age Falsification

The Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Oko has dismissed Mr. Anthony Ogochukwu Umeozor from its services, effective October 28, 2025.

Mr. Umeozor, formerly a Deputy Registrar at the institution, was terminated following a thorough investigation by a disciplinary committee which established a case of age falsification against him.

Falsification of age is classified as serious misconduct under the Public Service Rules, Chapter 10, Section 4, Rule 100402, with dismissal from service as the prescribed penalty under Rule 100407.

The general public is hereby notified and warned against conducting any business with Mr. Umeozor on behalf of the Federal Polytechnic Oko. The polytechnic will not be held liable for any liabilities or eventualities resulting from unauthorized dealings with the dismissed individual.
