Federal University Dutse Reduces Registration Fees, Offers Two-Installment Payment Option
The Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutse, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, has announced a reduction in the recently reviewed registration fees of the university.
This decision follows an interactive session with stakeholders who appealed to the management to reduce the fees in the interest of the general public.
In addition to the fee reduction, the university management has also approved the payment of fees in two installments. Students who cannot afford to pay the fees at once can pay 60% at the beginning of the first semester and 40% at the beginning of the second semester.
The reduced registration fees vary by faculty and student status. Here is a breakdown of the fees:
- *Faculty of Science*:
- Fresh students: ₦139,000.00
- Returning students: ₦104,000.00
- Returning students (final year): ₦109,000.00
- *Faculty of Agricultural Sciences*:
- Fresh students: ₦135,000.00
- Returning students: ₦105,000.00
- *Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences/Faculty of Management Sciences/Faculty of Education*:
- Fresh students: ₦128,000.00
- Returning students: ₦93,000.00
- Returning students (final year): ₦98,000.00
- *Faculty of Computing*:
- Fresh students: ₦155,000.00
- Returning students: ₦140,000.00
- *College of Medicine and Allied Medical Sciences*:
- Fresh students: ₦114,000.00
- Returning students (pre-clinical level 2-3): ₦79,000.00
