The Acting Registrar of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Mal. Shehu Iya Sa’idu, has engaged in a crucial meeting with the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) to address pressing student issues and institutional initiatives.
The meeting, which was aimed at fostering a collaborative relationship between the university management and the student body, covered key discussions on academic regulations, student welfare programs, and campus infrastructure improvements.
Mal. Shehu Iya Sa’idu reiterated the university's commitment to upholding academic excellence and ensuring that students receive the best educational experience. He also assured the SRC of the management's readiness to address concerns related to student welfare, emphasizing the importance of a conducive learning environment.
In response, representatives of the SRC expressed their appreciation for the university's efforts and presented various concerns on behalf of the student community. They highlighted areas requiring urgent attention, including accommodation, library services, and the need for enhanced academic support services.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to maintain continuous dialogue and cooperation to ensure that students’ academic and social needs are met effectively.
