Admission Requirements

UTME Candidates

1. SSCE/GCE Credits:

   • Aspiring candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE). These credits should include English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects related to the desired course of study. These credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

2. JAMB Subject Combination:

   • It is crucial to select the correct JAMB subject combination corresponding to the chosen course.

3. JAMB UTME Score:

   • Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 180 in the recently concluded Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME examination to be eligible for admission into FUNAAB.

4. First Choice Selection:

   • FUNAAB should be the first or most preferred choice during the JAMB registration process.

5. Participation in FUNAAB POST UTME/SCREENING:

   • Aspirants must actively participate in the FUNAAB Post UTME/Screening exercise to be considered for admission.

6. Age Requirement:  Candidates must be 16 years of age or above.

 Admission Requirements For Direct Entry (DE) 2024/2025

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB through Direct Entry:

1. 1. 1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects relating to the course you want to study in not more than two sittings.
      2. Candidates must have A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects that are related to their area of study.
      3. JUPEB/A’ Level passes in Related subjects.
      4. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for your course of choice.
      5. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the FUNAAB Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And FUNAAB Portal.
