Federal University Otuoke Announces 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening Exercise

The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has officially released details for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session, inviting qualified candidates to apply for admission into various undergraduate programmes across the institution.

Eligibility for Application

The university stated that the following categories of candidates are eligible to apply:

a. Candidates who selected the Federal University Otuoke as their first choice in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), chose any of the listed programmes, and scored a minimum of 150.

b. Candidates who did not initially choose FUOTUOKE as their first choice but scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME and are willing to change their institution to FUOTUOKE via the JAMB portal (www.jamb.org.ng) and select any of the approved programmes.

Method of Application

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦2,000.00 using Interswitch Verve or Mastercard debit cards.

Candidates are instructed to carefully read all guidelines before proceeding with the application.

Documents Required for Online Application

Applicants are required to upload the following documents in PDF format:

• WAEC/NECO/NABTEB O’Level result
• Local Government Area (LGA) identification letter
• Birth certificate or age declaration
• National Identification Number (NIN) slip

Special Instructions

The university emphasized that applicants must:

• Provide a valid email address and functional phone number
• Upload correct O’Level scratch card details
• Ensure accurate submission of all required information

It warned that it will not be responsible for failed applications resulting from incorrect contact details or invalid information.

Application Period

The online application portal will open on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, at http://ecampus.fuotuoke.edu.ng.

Deadline for Submission

The application closes on Friday, 17 July 2026. Candidates are advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late submissions will not be considered.

Post-UTME Screening Date

The university stated that the screening date will be communicated to candidates upon completion of registration via the screening schedule printout.

Disqualification Notice

FUOTUOKE warned that candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS, or who provide false information regarding UTME scores, O’Level results, or state of origin, will be automatically disqualified from the admission process.
