Federal University Wukari Issues New Electricity Usage Schedule

The Federal University Wukari (FUW) has announced a new schedule for electricity usage across the university. This decision follows a recent increase in electricity tariffs and aims to ensure prudent and effective management of electricity consumption. The announcement was made by the Office of the Registrar, Dr. S. A. Bambur, via a circular dated July 25, 2024.
According to the schedule:
- Electricity in all student hostels will be turned off between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily.
- Staff quarters on campus will have electricity turned off between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily, pending the installation of meters.
