An Indigenous company, Accunalysis Diagnostic Centre, a Subsidiary of Accu Health Group, Nnewi, Anambra State has announced plans to construct the biggest Oxygen plant in Nigeria at the main campus of the Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI).

An Indigenous company, Accunalysis Diagnostic Centre, a Subsidiary of Accu Health Group, Nnewi, Anambra State has announced plans to construct the biggest Oxygen plant in Nigeria at the main campus of the Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI). 

The project is said to be as a result of a memorandum of understanding signed between the university and the indigenous healthcare company.

 

Myschoolnews reports Vice Chancellor of the University Rev Fr Prof. Christian Anieke announced this while inaugurating a modern restaurant built by the Alumni Association of the University at the Thinkers Corner campus of the institution. 

 

Rev Fr Prof. Anieke also announced that the university will soon sign another Memorandum of understanding with another organisation for the construction of a gym at the main campus of the institution to promote good health. 

 

Praising the Alumni of the Institution, Prof. Anieke described the performance of the members of the Alumni association in different parts of the globe and the contributions of the Alumnus to the growth of the university as proof of the quality of graduates of the University.

 

Responding, the President of the association, Alphonsus Nwafor, explained that the restaurant was completed with the support of the members of the alumni and their friends.

 

Mr. Nwafor expressed gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of Accunalysis Diagnostic Centre for donating N16 million naira to the oxygen plant project. 

 

In a speech, representative of Accu health group, Mr. Okeke commended the university for contributing positively to the development of education in the country. 

 

He reaffirmed the readiness of his organisation to partner the university to fast-track the development of the university.
