The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by the Adamawa State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Sabo Yahaya Adiku, to the Chief Medical Director of MAUTH, Professor Adamu Girei Bakari.

He praised the hospital for its professionalism, compassion, and impartiality, highlighting the institution's core values of humility, excellence, and selfless service.
The FRSC Commander emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the FRSC and MAUTH, particularly in conducting joint sensitization campaigns and regular medical check-ups for commercial drivers. He noted that the hospital's policy of administering care without demanding immediate payment aligns closely with the FRSC's life-saving mandate.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adamu Girei Bakari, expressed deep appreciation for the visit and the commendation. He reaffirmed the hospital's policy of non-discriminatory, life-first emergency care, highlighting the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS) that provides free services for the first 48 hours, including diagnostics and emergency surgeries.
