FUHSI Management Celebrates Bakiyah Okedeji for Historic Triple Distinction in MBBS Exams

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Prof. Akeem Olawale Lasisi, alongside members of the University Management, yesterday May 4, 2026 commended and celebrated the overall best 400-level MBBS student, Bakiyah Okedeji (2022/MBBS/067), during the Management Meeting.

Bakiyah, who emerged as the Overall Best Student in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, was specially recognized for her outstanding academic performance, discipline, and dedication to excellence.

In his remarks, Prof. Lasisi commended her remarkable achievement, describing it as a reflection of hard work, resilience, and commitment to her studies. He noted that her success brings pride to the University and sets a standard for other students to emulate.
